Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and driving efficiency within our production environment. This position requires a strong understanding of industrial equipment, process engineering, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve production issues.
• Utilize CAD software for designing layouts and creating detailed engineering drawings.
• l plans/inspection plans
• Document material specifications for material that may be purchased as an off the shelf and/or off the shelf and modified.
• Assist in the development of test procedures for both manufacturing in process and quality lot approval i.e. pull test, functional test, deflection test, etc.
• Maintain production equipment: Work with the production department to assist in the troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment to include mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, plc’s, etc.
• Work with production to develop preventative maintenance schedules/procedures for all manufacturing equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles.
• Provide technical support for industrial equipment and assist with maintenance planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years experience in Manufacturing
• Proficiency in CAD software
• Familiarity with CAM programming techniques.
• Knowledge of quantum engineering principles is a plus.
• Strong background in process engineering and industrial equipment management.
• Experience with robot programming for automation applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to conduct thorough root cause analysis.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with team members.
